Ayame ~Ikoukinei~
Hello everyone! This is Koyama, a makeup staff member!
Today I’d like to introduce a new style!
Its name is – Ayame.
The Ikoukinei series is a stylish plan that fuses kimono with art using flowers as a motif. This time, the plan is named “ayame”.
Ayame means iris in English.
By the way, the flower language of the iris is hope, good news, those who believe will be saved, love, mystic, purity, kindness, great ambition, strong hope, and belief.
The flower language varies depending on the color of the iris, with white being “purity,” “kindness,” and “mystic,” blue being “great ambition,” “strong hope,” and “belief,” purple being “good news,” and yellow being “friendship.” Yellow irises have scary flower languages such as “revenge,” “disappearance,” and “message,” but they also have positive flower languages such as “grasping happiness” and “happiness of the believer.”
It seems that the real black iris does not yet have a flower language, so I’ll give it one!
“Elegant,” “Elegant,” “Look at me.”
Yes, I just added them ( ´艸`)
I’ll show you lots of photos from this plan now!
First, a photo that shows the whole body
It’s a stylish plan like no other!
Let me tell you a little about the costumes and decorations (*’▽’)
This plan was created by me based on the original idea of the genius illustrator Shimizu ( *´艸`)
It was truly a team effort to create a plan! Here is Shimizu’s original illustration
This is what it turned out like!
What do you think? Shimizu-sensei said that it was well reproduced ( *´艸`)
I tried wire art for the first time based on Shimizu’s idea!
Here is a photo that shows the decorations well
I filed the wire, painted it black, changed the shape and combined it…
It’s surprisingly easy to do when you try it! I had a lot of fun making it! We also made colored flowers, fabric, and string decorations and combined them!
You’ll have to experience it to find out what parts they are divided into ( *´艸`)
And as you can see in the photo above, we also have special nail tips available for 550 yen including tax!
They were made by Sekita-san, who came on a business trip from the Tokyo store!!! Enjoy the Tokyo x Kyoto collaboration♡
And this time we used a black tie-dyed formal kimono.
We usually wear long-sleeved kimonos, but don’t you think the short sleeves this time give it a more stylish and mature feel?
Also, as you can see, there are two types of wigs. Pure white and off-white.
The pure white one is a twisted braided style.
The off-white one is a wavy bob style.
The skin will be painted white, so don’t worry, the white wig will look great on you (`・ω・´)
Let’s change the subject suddenly and explain how we came up with the white and black plan this time!
In ancient China, the four seasons were represented by the colors blue, red, white, and black. They are Youth, Red Summer, White Autumn, and Dark Winter.
Dark means the color of deep places where light does not reach, in other words, black.
Yes, black is the color of winter. If you mix it with white, which represents snow, doesn’t it bring to mind a scene of snow falling quietly in the dark mountains in winter?
So the wig is white, reminiscent of snow.
Next, I will explain the makeup. I used purple, black, and silver for the makeup!
I think the color scheme has a somewhat cold feel to it. Since the wig is white, I made the area around the eyes dark, and used makeup around the eyes to create a gothic atmosphere.
For the person with the twisted hair, I drew the eyebrows lower and painted the eyelashes white, so I think it gives a more transience-like feel.
You can choose a more gothic or cute look, so please let the staff know what kind of atmosphere you want.
You can also add snowflake-like parts under your eyes for the plan fee (`・ω・´) It’s sparkly and cute ♡
Next, I’ll explain about the photo booth (`・ω・´)
